During this workshop, participants experiment with Bergschaf wool batts to create a colourful flat sample using the ‘Slash /Reveal’ technique.
Suitable for those with some felting experience, I demonstrate the technique so participants can make along with me, experimenting with Bergschaf wool batts to create a colourful slashed piece. This wool felts easily but is much stronger than merino wool so is ideal for slashing and creating sculptural work. The technique can be adapted to add to hats, vessels etc….
There is also a short ½ hour Zoom introductory session to allow students to prepare the right equipment and materials.
Both recordings are freely available for students to watch again and take notes.
