Based on Canadian smocking, these techniques do not lend themselves to a real time workshop. Therefore, I have chosen to offer a demonstration where I explain three different pleating techniques and how to apply them to make scarves. The Zoom recording is available for students to watch repeatedly. I explain how to prepare felt for the pleating, how to create the pleats and finish with various dyeing methods.
