How often have you looked at someone else’s felt work and wondered, “How did they do that?”. Isn’t that why we go to workshops, buy books, watch videos? We experiment on our own, making sample after sample. Sometimes we will come up with our own techniques (which is obviously very exciting and rewarding). And sometimes we might need a little help. That’s why, in our journal, Felt Matters, we share felting tips and techniques to give you ideas, inspiration and a guiding hand.
Even if you have a shelf full of past issues of Felt Matters, or are using the digital resource, it can take a while to find just what you are looking for. We hope you will find the following list , as compiled by our Editorial Committee coordinator, Janine Rees, useful.
Techniques Articles in Felt Matters (from June 2014).
Our journal is just one of the benefits of being a member of the International Feltmakers Association. Not only can you get a copy sent to your home but you can also access past issues digitally (log in and go to Felt Matters | Digital). We currently have issues going back to 2014, and are working on making the complete archive (going back to the very first issue of Echoes) available to all our members.
