Title:Nuno felt vest

Materials and Techniques: Hand dyed silk fabrics felted with merino wool in a single seamless garment around a resist pattern

Inspiration: This Nuno seamless vest wraps around the body like a second skin, holding all our essential organs safe, our heart and lungs, the life forces of the body are held close and warm by the sheep's wool , like soft armour facing the external world.

Title: Gotland bedspread

Materials and Techniques: Felted from raw British small flock Gotland sheep fleece onto a mixed wool fibre background.

Inspiration: The sheep's coat becomes the bedroom coat under which humans will sleep and dream of the land where sheep live and sleep the sky. The ultimate in warmth, felted in panels and hand stitched together to create a double bedspread , one sheep coat now firmly connected to keeping two human warm.
