Title: “Elsie” The Aunties Collection
Materials and Techniques: UK Wool and Yarn: Swaledale Chunky Yarn : Dorset Wool Tops : Shetland Carded Wool :Black Welsh Wool Tops : Natural Grey Shetland Carded Wool : Celebration of ethical British farm to yarn processes with Flock and Skein. Other Materials used: Glass eyes : Sculptural wire : Machine knitted tubing: Silk Clay: Vintage embroidery thread and salad bowl: Mixture of felting needles. Techniques employed: Needle felting to shape a sculptural form, wrapped armatures for structured arms and legs, and a range of knitting techniques to craft the jumper and achieve a twisted bustle effect.
Inspiration: The Aunties Collection honours my "Morris" aunts and my grandmother Elizabeth, a hand-lace maker from a family of Calico and Silk Designers. Inspired by Elsie’s love of knitting and taking me on long walks as a child, this piece connects generations through storytelling, craftsmanship, and the joy of shared memories.

Title: The Rosebud Collection
Materials and Techniques: UK Wool: For these projects, I used White Faced Woodland, Dorset Horn, and Blue Faced Leicester Gotland wool tops: Swaledale Yarn. Celebration of ethical British farm to yarn processes with Flock and Skein. Other Materials used: Embroidered ribbon : White Tulle : Mixture of felting needles. Techniques used: Basic wet felting without rolling, with needle felting for precise shaping. Various sewing methods were applied to attach the tulle, incorporating gathers and embroidered ribbon for added detail.
Inspiration: The Rosebud Collection captures the magic of childhood and the enchantment of fairy tales. Dreaming and wondering as a child sparked my creativity, and revisiting those beloved stories reignited my passion. This collection connects past and present, weaving nostalgia and imagination into delicate, whimsical garments filled with joy.
