Title:From the Moorland

Materials and Techniques: Various wool fibres, silk, thread, mulberry paper, cord. Wet felted offcuts stitched onto mulberry paper. Then using paper-making technique “wet felted” the several layers of paper and felt together.

Inspiration: I had several pieces of felt leftover from another project, moorland pictures, which I wanted to use again. I decided I wanted to connect the felt onto mulberry paper of complimentary colours to expand the boundaries and create a new piece. I finished off by using complimentary coloured hemp cord to make the wall hanging.
