Title: Hunter’s Moon

Materials and Techniques: Wet felted merino wool Size 18” x 24”

Inspiration: Inspired by watching a barn owl at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, captured briefly in a photograph. I imagined him beyond the gardens, pouncing on a mouse in the woodlands beneath the Hunter’s Moon — a suspended moment in autumn, where time, instinct and season quietly converge.

Materials and Techniques:  Wet felted merino wool Size 18” x 24”

Inspiration: Inspired by a badger pausing before my trail camera in Badger Woods at night-time. I imagined the forest holding its breath — moonlight, blue shadows and ancient paths converging — a quiet, magical moment where wild curiosity and timeless woodland briefly meet.
