Inspiration: These adorable little mittens for my granddaughter will keep her tiny hands warm and wrapped in love, a sweet reminder that Nana's heart is always with her, no matter the miles between us.

Title: Connections of Generations
Materials and Techniques: merino wool
Technique: wet-felting
Inspiration: This year was quite busy at work, but I made sure to keep up with my felting. I took a few fantastic online classes and was really pleased with the results. One of the classes taught me how to create felted wall art Rosettes, and I was so happy with the outcome that it inspired me to create three Rosettes for a single piece of wall art symbolizing the connections between generations. My last name, which translates from Yiddish as "garden of roses," made this piece feel even more meaningful. I titled it "Connections of Generations."
