Title: Ladyslippers

Materials and Techniques: Roving wool, Wet Felting, 2D Needle felting

Inspiration: I draw my inspiration for this piece from my memories of the summers I spent roaming the woods of my childhood home sitting quietly next to the brook enjoying the sounds of the forest and the beauty of the fields of lady slippers.

Title:  Juicy Apples

Materials and Techniques:  Roving wool, 2D Needle felting

Inspiration: I drew my inspiration for this piece from my family excursions to "Drews Apple Farm" to pick our own apples. My father would lift me up into the tree branches so I could reach the biggest apples. I'll always remember the day I saw this small bird perched on the branch's as if he was also looking for the best apple to sample.
