Title: Rainbow Trout

Materials and Techniques: Rooving wool. Needle felted

Inspiration: This picture reminds me of the times I spent with my grandparents in the summertime. We spent many weekends together camping the fishing. My Grandmother and I would go fishing while my grandfather read his latest book. She taught me everything I know about fishing, and I miss her every day. This picture is a tribute to her and how much I still feel connected to her.

Title: Spring Bunnies

Materials and Techniques: Roving wool. Needle felted

Inspiration: This picture was inspired by my love of rabbits and nature. In the wild they help regulate plant life, fertilize the soil, and are a food source for larger predators. They are an important part of our ecosystem. I raised rabbits for 4-H as a kid, and also later when my kids where small. I still go out in the woods hoping to find a nest.
