Title: Astronomical Connections

Materials and Techniques: Needle felted using Corriedale, Bergschaf and Merino wools. 40cm x 40cm

Inspiration: Having grown up with the idea of 'The Man in the Moon' I wanted to explore this iconography but in a slightly different way. The floating astronaut is an expression of our physical connection with the moon but also perhaps our relationship with Space and the Universe.
