~ A Two-Day Needle Felting & Wet Felting Workshop with Elise Campbell ~

Join award-winning fibre artist Elise Campbell for an immersive two-day workshop exploring the enchanting world of felted forest fungi. Combining both wet felting and sculptural needle felting techniques, participants will learn how to transform wool fibres into beautifully textured mushrooms inspired by the quiet magic of the forest floor.

Throughout the workshop Elise will share her expertise on:

• Selecting and preparing wool for felting
• Understanding different wool breeds and their properties
• Choosing the appropriate felting needles and tools
• Building strong internal structures for sculptural forms
• Blending colours to create depth and realism
• Achieving smooth surfaces and refined finishes

Participants will be encouraged to experiment with their own interpretations of woodland fungi — from realistic botanical forms to imaginative forest creations.

This workshop is beginner-friendly while also offering valuable insights for those with some felting experience who wish to expand their sculptural skills and confidence with fibre.
