Artwork One 

Title: beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Materials and Techniques: felted wool blanket apple on merino felt wool base with raised felt areas, crevice areas, free motion machine stitching

Inspiration: We can still be the apple of someone’s eye with the passage of time noticeable on the outside ie wrinkles (the apple is central to the piece and still has ‘form’ even though the skin has withered).

Title:  Wrinkles in Time

Materials and Techniques:  photo portrait transferred to prefelt, needlefelted portrait, then wetfelted then free machine stitching on the top of the second image

Inspiration: Please could one non line and one lined picture be placed together. Picture one is what I see in the mirror, Picture two is what I see in the mirror with my glasses on! In our minds eye we are still young, even though time catches up with us physically.
