Title: Passing Time

Materials and Techniques: Wet felted sculpture (hour glass is made with a resist within an enclosing resist); braided, felted prefelts; raw fleece 

Inspiration: An homage to those who went before us. The meditative, time consuming process of planning and making a felt object provides time for reflection on felt’s roots as an ancient art form and a means to survive. Time passes like falling grains of sand while reflecting on how time has really passed.
