Title: Time Traveller Pocket

Materials and Techniques: Wet felted over a resist,18.5 merino wool, silk roving, nuno felted lichen print on silk, commercial ribbon, embroidery, 

Inspiration: Picture yourself in the 18th century wearing a large pocket tied around your waist under your skirts to safely carry your valuables. Travel forward in time to the 21st century and picture yourself wearing this modern felted version. Are we still hiding our pockets? What’s in yours?
