I'm a visual artist who likes to work with a variety of media, including textiles. I trained as a teacher, specialising in art and design, but come from a family of makers. I discovered felt making a few years back, have experimented with wet and needle techniques, in two and three dimensions, and I'm currently exploring the use of fulled second hand jumpers to make art.I own a gallery in southern Scotland, which acts as my studio, workshop and display space. I run workshops, including those for felting. My woolly creations have been sold across the globe, but I would like to exhibit more widely in the UK.
