Artist Biography Originally qualifying as an industrial research pharmacist in UK, I attained a certificate and diploma in Stitched Textiles – Embroidery through City & Guilds London while living abroad for 17 years. Working now as a textile artist, I combine the sculptural nature of wet felting with fabrics and free machine embroidery to create layered textural surfaces with focal interest, presented as hangings, wearables and accessories. Based from my studio in Oxfordshire, I split my life and work between UK and Australia, exhibiting and selling nationally with Prism Textiles and Seam Collective in the UK, and with Untethered Fibre Artists in Australia My work has been commissioned and sold internationally; received many juried awards in Australia, and published in international publications and magazines. I continue to share my skills through workshops and presentations through guilds and craft organisations.
