I live on a small holding in Fife, Scotland with my husband, mini Shetlands, pigs and chickens. We had sheep originally and discovered the art of felting when I wanted to find a meaningful way of using their fleece. We no longer have the sheep but my love of felting has remained. I predominantly make and sell felted fleece rugs, but also vessels and baskets along with the occasional felt painting. I teach workshops from my home studio, at a local art centre and at a sheep farm in Perth. I try to use raw fleece sources locally as much as possible to raise awareness of the value of sheep’s fleece!
