My artwork combines my training in art & design with the ancient art of felt making. I use the wool to 'paint', the needle felting to refine the detail, the free-motion machine embroidery as the drawn line and the hand embroidery to embellish. I combine skies, landscapes, flowers and wildlife with Folk Art inspirations to create a final piece that is a rich and impressionistic portrayal of the colourful floral world.
