I am a Textiles artist with a background in teaching. I have a Fine Art degree and a PGCE in Art & Design. My love of surface texture includes feltmaking, which is an unfolding journey of discovery. I run exploratory textiles workshops, which include feltmaking & needle felting. I especially like to make felt wall hangings, incorporating wet and dry felted approaches. They can include mixed media such as wire, fabric, beads and stitch. I make occasional commissions. I live in Pembrokeshire, West Wales and ethically source my wool from local wool lovers who have their own small flocks of sheep, as well as purchasing sustainable wool tops from further afield.
