I’ve been a felt maker for over 10 years. I love the versatility of wool and felt making, I’m often amazed at the tremendous different styles of feltmaking I see from fellow felt makers.
I’ve recently been creating felted pictures which are based on my love of the natural world. I photograph things that catch my eye on my frequent excursions into the beautiful countryside around me, then recreate these scenes in my works. I am increasingly drawn to expressing my feelings around the climate emergency in my works and how our environment is changing.
