Kelly Lynae is a wool painter and fiber artist based in Idaho, USA, working primarily in wet felting and embroidery. Her creative process blends tactile tradition with personal narrative—transforming loose wool roving into richly textured felt which she then embellishes with hand and machine stitching. Kelly’s work explores themes of memory, emotional quiet, and softness as strength. A lifelong multidisciplinary artist, she brings a background in performance, costume design, and poetic storytelling to her fiber art practice. She is a member of both the International Feltmakers Association and the NorthEast Feltmakers Guild.
