Creating sculptures from wool began as a hobby for Michelle some twelve years ago, as Furzie, she has been under-taking commissions and selling her creations worldwide. For the past ten years, she has been teaching wool sculpture at her studio in Dorset and venues across the country. Michelle was also commissioned by Crowood Press to write a book: Needlefelting: an illustrated guide to creating characters from wool.
This is needle-felting for grown-ups, demonstrating the versatility of sculpting with wool, letting your imagination run riot and the characters and humour develop.
