Region 10’s wonderful exhibition “Entangled” continues until mid May: twenty-five feltmakers display work highlighting the impact of industry on the environment. Working amongst these formidable machines from the industrial age, poses questions as to the kind of new industrial revolution needed today, to bring about a just and sustainable clothing industry. For ten days Pippa Woodhams will be at the museum, demonstrating felt making and with other artists giving tours of the exhibition. Come and find out about new initiatives in the fashion industry, craftivism and campaigning: there will be a large banner, for visitors to make and add pieces of miniature clothing. Open weekends 12-5, weekdays 10-5, not including Monday and Tuesday.
Tours all at 1.00 pm: 1st Feb with Helen Riddle; 6th Feb with Pippa; 8th Feb with Charlotte Tweedy; 9th Feb with Pippa.
