Wet Felted Plant Pot Cover or Bowl on a Ball – Kidsgrove

23 May @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

£60

This relaxed, hands-on workshop explores wet felting on a ball, a unique and fun method used to create strong, seamless 3D forms. Working with warm soapy water and wool fibres, you’ll shape and felt your piece around a resist to form either a plant pot cover or, if you prefer, a felted bowl.

The session is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some felting experience. You will be guided step by step through the process, while exploring colour, surface texture and fibre combinations. Once constructed we will then bounce the balls on the table – a light-hearted method of felting and excellent work out!
