In this workshop we will be creating a statement pendant using a combination of Superfine Merino and Merino prefelt. Karen will talk you through the different techniques we will be using, showing several samples of different designs. Some will utilise resists and be better suited to experienced feltmakers while others will be suitable for any ability. All designs incorporate an adjustable cord and a “dangle” and, for those who would like to, can be further embellished using beads or stitch.
We have Merino prefelt in light grey and mustard if you would like to purchase some on the day, otherwise bring your choice of prefelt colour with you. A quarter of a metre will be more than enough and you will need a small amount of Superfine fibre to use with it.
Tea and coffee provided but please bring a packed lunch as there isn’t a shop in the village.
