The 43rd annual Mountain and Valley Wool Association Festival.
A two-day festival celebrating all things fibre.
Juried vendors offering fleeces, natural fibers, supplies and tools, kits, yarns, clothing, and art, other finished fiber items – all hand-made, no imports or resale!
Family activities: animal encounters (sheep, llamas, alpacas, yaks), free demonstrations, contests, yarn bombing, silent auction, fleece show and sale,
Food, live music..
All in the beautiful year-round resort town of Durango with its historic downtown, river, scenery, outdoor activities, art, restaurants, coffee shops, and independent shops.
Admission and on site parking are free, and there’s a wide range of nearby accommodation.
A variety of workshops run from the preceding Thursday through the Sunday morning, taught by accomplished instructors from across the country. See separate event listing for workshop details as we add them.
