Needle Felted Jellyfish Workshop at Sam Dale, Holmes Chapel

Dive into an enchanting creative workshop with our Needle Felted Jellyfish Mobile Workshop, taking place on Thursday 7th May, 6–8pm at the beautiful Sam Dale studio in Holmes Chapel. Create a shoal of soft, rounded, woolly jellyfish complete with flowing tentacles, sculpted forms and driftwood hanger — a calming way to unwind and explore fibre art.

About the Workshop

Led by fibre artist Vicky Pulman of Needlessly Felted, this workshop is perfect for both beginners and confident makers.

You’ll learn the key needle-felting techniques: shaping and sculpting wool, building firm forms, adding texture and colour, and creating expressive tentacles and surface details that bring your jellyfish to life.

Guided step-by-step, you’ll craft a unique mobile of jellies with beautiful miniature features, making each jellyfish completely unique.

• A wide variety of fibres: merino, Corriedale, Shetland, silks, locks, nepps, textured embellishments and more

• All tools and materials required for needle felting

• Expert tuition in shaping, sculpting, character design and fine-detail felting

• Use of the welcoming Sam Dale creative space

• A completed needle-felted mini jellyfish mobile to take home
