In this course, we want to breathe new life into old pieces of felt and use them to create attractive sculptural surfaces. Leftovers or failed projects don’t have to end up in the trash!
You will learn how even solid pieces of felt can be incorporated into new works in a durable way and produce great effects: relief-like surfaces, graphic images, a stable framework for three-dimensional objects, or interesting deformations when shrinking.
Depending on your preferences, you can design wall objects, containers, pillowcases, or laptop sleeves.
