DESCRIPTION:Surface design and art felt techniques can be used to great effect on 3D structures.  This workshop teaches you how to build an upright vessel along with the opportunity to explore some wet felting surface design techniques and how to use them successfully around a 3D object. \nAll equipment and materials will be provided\, including items from my extensive ‘stash’ of surface decoration materials plus a good palette of colourful wool fibres. \nThis workshop is a great opportunity to explore design on a 3D object and is suitable for both beginners and those with previous feltmaking experience.

DESCRIPTION:Learn how to create a hollow 3D felt art form as you make a vessel with sculptural elements.  During the making process you will use the transformational qualities of wool  to sculpt shapes that will remain once your vessel is complete and dry. \nYou will take home a finished vessel at the end of the day.  Approx size:  6″ (15 cm) in diameter. \nMaterials and equipment are provided and confident beginners are very welcome.

This is a perfect workshop for beginners to get to know feltmaking or for those wishing to increase their knowledge and experience of different surface design techniques.
