The gathering
I was inspired by everyone’s current isolation, all in different circumstances, to make individual different isolated pieces. These can be joined and rejoined in many different ways, representing our eventual reconnection at a gathering. I show just two of the many possible reconnections in my photos.
Materials and Techniques
I used undyed wool fibres, choosing Blue faced Leicester, Masham, Shetland, Welsh, and Swaledale. I wet felted 15 individual different elements that can connected in many different ways.

Time to Smile.
The wrap has been made is cheerful yellow colours representing a brighter reconnected future. The words felted into the wraps represent my positive thoughts on the theme of ReConnect and include the following haiku.

This is the perfect time to reconnect with nature.
Reflecting my personnel philosophy and also that the elements of the wrap, from the wool and silk to the dyes and the ink, are connected with nature.
Materials and Techniques
I have made a fine merino wool, silk and cotton fabric wrap. All of the fabrics are naturally dyed, using plants from my garden or foraged locally. Some fabrics have been marked with sumi ink and some have words. The wrap has been wet felted.
