SUMMARY:Wet Felted Bowl with Emma Jackson
DESCRIPTION:We met Emma at the Feltmakers Regional Meeting in February and fell in love with the beautiful wet felted bowl she was hand stitching on to. Felt makes the perfect base for hand embroidery\, whether you favour a simple running stitch or something more advanced\, and a bowl is a great project to do this with.\nThis workshop is suitable for all abilities so come along and spend a relaxing day creating a piece of work you can then embellish at your leisure.\nWe have a limited supply of fibres which you can purchase on the day\, otherwise bring your own\, including any embellishing fibres you fancy using such as silk\, viscose\, etc. Contact Pat for the requirements list.\n£30 tea\, coffee and biscuits provided.

SUMMARY:Wet Felted Birds and Cats with Karen Lane
DESCRIPTION:What originally started out as a Chicken Workshop seems to be gaining momentum! Having been asked to include the option of Cats and Parrots\, who knows what else might be in the mix by mid May! In this two day workshop we will be wet felting around resists using Merino or Carded Corriedale. Templates will be provided or you can design your own. We will discuss ways in which these can be adapted to make a variety of different types of birds/animals. There’s also scope for further embellishing your work with hand embroidery if that’s something you would like to do.

SUMMARY:Wet Felted Roll Edge Collar with Karen Lane
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop we will be using Superfine Merino to create a beautiful\, sculptural\, roll edge collar. You will need a maximum total of 50gms of fibre in your chosen colour scheme. Not only will this look great and keep the back of your neck warm but its so light and comfy the chances are you will forget you’re wearing it! Keep it simple or bring along your favourite silk\, viscose or textured fibres to add your choice of surface decoration. This class is suitable for any ability.\nDrinks provided but please bring a packed lunch as there isn’t a shop in the village.
