SUMMARY:Wet Felted Birds and Cats with Karen Lane
DESCRIPTION:What originally started out as a Chicken Workshop seems to be gaining momentum! Having been asked to include the option of Cats and Parrots\, who knows what else might be in the mix by mid May! In this two day workshop we will be wet felting around resists using Merino or Carded Corriedale. Templates will be provided or you can design your own. We will discuss ways in which these can be adapted to make a variety of different types of birds/animals. There’s also scope for further embellishing your work with hand embroidery if that’s something you would like to do.

SUMMARY:Roll Edge Collar with Karen Lane
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop we will be using Superfine Merino to create a beautiful\, sculptural\, roll edge collar with brooch fastener. Keep it simple or bring your favourite silk\, viscose or textured fibres to add surface decoration. This collar will not only keep your neck warm\, it will be so light and comfortable you could easily forget your wearing it!\nThis workshop is suitable for all abilities\, even those new to wet felting.\nDepending on numbers this workshop will either take place in my home studio in Horncastle LN95DS or just down the road at Belchford Village Hall LN96LJ and this will be confirmed nearer the date.
