SUMMARY:Needle Felted Fungi
DESCRIPTION:Take your sculptural needle felting to the next level with this 3D mushroom workshop. Participants will develop and refine their felting techniques by learning to use density for sculpting wool. This workshop will teach participants how to needle felt an enchanting\, well felted mushroom. Elise will guide participants through sculpting a strong core\, colour blending\, adding detail\, depth\, and how to achieve a smooth finish. \nElise will discuss wool breeds and preferred preparation for needle felting\, as well as explain the various needle shapes\, sizes\, and felting surfaces. She will share her strategies for sculpting 3D realistic or whimsically designed mushrooms – the choice is yours!

DESCRIPTION:The leading international art fair for contemporary craft and design. My name is Elise Campbell and I am joining 17 other fine craft artists from Atlantic Canada to exhibit my work at Collect 2025 at Somerset House\, London. My sculptures feature needle felting\, wet felting\, Nuno felting\, and paper felting techniques.\nI would love to get together with other felt artists while visiting London in Feb-Mar\, so please get in touch if you’d like to come and see the show or connect while I am in the city!
