Business name: Rinansay Weavings
Having worked on organic farms, and city farms i now find myself on a tiny remote scottish island with a family of rescued native sheep. Their fleece and that of the communally managed semi feral sheep is used in my creations- from the dehaired fibres in my needle felted wall hangings, incorporating machine spun kemp yarn in mixed discipline woven art. I also use Shetland as well as other native sheep wools along with seacell and bamboo fibres. I mainly use the island for inspiration in my creations but ill also feature general wildlife and countryside themes from time to time
