I am a full-time artist felt maker living and working in south-west Scotland. I have a studio where I work and teach and a gallery showcasing my own work for sale and that of other artists in different media in the local region. I live on the Mull of Galloway which is an area of outstanding beauty and the most southerly tip of Scotland, a very popular tourist destination therefore I offer short notice half and full day workshops. Now that I have accommodation (2 person, no pets) I can also offer creative retreats details of which are on my website detailed under 'The Hideaway'.
I have worked in the arts all my life and am, by profession, an art psychotherapist. I have a degree in fine art and a masters in art psychotherapy. Whilst no longer practising clinically, I offer therapeutic community art group work and often work with children and people living with and caring for those with a primary diagnosis of dementia. My 2023 goal is to finish my book!
