I have always loved working with textiles, from knitting and sewing as a child and while growing up, to spinning, weaving and dyeing, once I had more time after changing careers. I have been feltmaking for about 20 years, mainly making nuno felt garments and accessories. I love learning new techniques so I often attend workshops with UK and overseas visiting tutors as well as traveling overseas for masterclasses. I exhibit and sell my work through Surrey Open Studios and other venues/events throughout the UK
I am currently the Editorial Coordiantor for the IFA for Felt Matters - the IFA quarterly publication. I love the opportunity this has given me to meet and make contact with feltmakers from all over the world.
