CV JILLIAN SCHNEIDER - Textile Artist
I love experimenting with wet felting, embroidery, eco dyeing and colour dyeing.
I explore ideas using wool, silk and any natural fibre to create organic, earthy felt.
My work is not planned to a set design, but rather, my pieces evolve as I combine, colour, texture, fibre, stitches and embellishments. I especially like making nuno felt- wool on fine silk or muslin fabric.
I have been felting for about 15 years.
