I live in Buckinghamshire although I was born in Lithuania.. I graduated from Vilnius Art Academy with an Art Teacher's diploma but didn't follow that path. Instead, I worked as a graphic designer for several publishing companies.My pastime pleasure was painting on silk. I abandoned the computer screen spending more time with a brush and silk. Discarded as failures silk pieces were piling up until I discovered nuno felting, the ideal way to recycle silk. I started working with wool and enjoying every minute exploring it's countless possibilities.
