My daughter Abigail, who is a long standing member of the IFA, taught me to felt wool. At first I was clumsy with the wool, but over time, I have understood the fibres, and different breeds of wool, and become better at laying out my wet felting projects. My Bergschaf oven gloves were featured in the Tips and Techniques of Issue 141 of FeltMatters. I recently moved with my husband to North Lincolnshire to build a garden of my own, and brought over 600 plants in pots with me (all grown by me) to create a wonderful space to live in. When the weather is inclement I shall felt instead. I sell some of my feltware on Etsy as feltedbylamorna.
