Val and I ran a second members’ day at Frampton on Sunday, and again we met in the lovely airy hall in a suitably socially-distanced and safe way.
We had an optional task of starting a ‘Fiona Duthie style’ market (i.e. shopping) bag. Although we were never going to be able to finish our bags in the time, we stuck to the task and got as far as we could. I took a ‘Blue Peter’ example: a bag part-made so everyone could see when the resist is cut out. We are looking forward to seeing the finished bags in due course.
There were nine of us at this event and again we attracted members who do not often get to other feltmaking events and were new to Frampton. We look forward to the next members’ day on 5th December at the Woodgreen venue and back at Frampton in the new year. Thank you to all who made this such a fun and relaxed day
