The International Feltmakers Association launched our current exhibition Kaleidoscope in July of this year. It provided inspiration for our members and features fabulous felt work from around the world. Although we cannot see the work in person, the exhibition has the advantage of being visible to all, wherever they are in the world and can be viewed repeatedly. If you would like a project to work on during the winter months, we are launching another online exhibition to coincide and link with the AGM in March 2021
For our second online exhibition, we would like submissions of images of 2D and 3D felt work from members of the IFA, on the theme, ReConnect.

The exhibition will take the form of an online gallery of images of selected works.
You must be a member of the IFA to make a submission.
Work should be no older than 1 year at the time of submission.
Work must be your own design and not made during a workshop.
Work will be selected by completing the application form below.
Please send up to 2 images of each artwork you are submitting.
You can submit up to 3 artworks.
An independent panel will review submissions and select the work to be exhibited.
There is no cost to submit work or exhibit in the exhibition.
You will be notified by email of the outcome of your submission.
Artwork will not be for sale during the exhibition.
By submitting images, you agree for the IFA to add them to their photo library for future publicity, website banners etc.
Submissions will be selected using the following criteria:
- A strong measure of Artistic Integrity + Individuality in the maker’s approach to the work
- A technical mastery of the medium
- A sense of design and a sense of aesthetic values
- Functional value, if applicable
- A clear sense of how the work relates to the exhibition theme
Key dates:
Deadline for artist to submit works: 14th February 2021
Notification to artists of acceptance in the exhibition: 20th March 2021
Online exhibition launch during the online AGM weekend: 27th March 2021
