Artwork 1 Title: Snow Queen Hat

Materials and Techniques: 

Merino wool, Margilan silk fabric, sequined fabric, lame fabric, wool yarn, sequined thread, Swarovski crystal snowflake element. Wet-felting technique. 

I created a three-piece costume (dress, hat, and mittens) for the Snow Queen character from the fairy tale Snow Queen by Hans Christian Andersen. The costume was selected for the exhibition Stage Felt, a part of the European Felt Days in Felletin, France, 2023. The hat is a part of the costume mentioned above.
