On Sunday 1st August, ten of us got together for our first members’ day since the pandemic started – what a brilliant day we had. The hall at Frampton is light and airy. The weather was kind, so doors and windows were flung wide open and we all felt safe and relaxed. Viviane Bernhard ran a mini workshop for us where we made felt bangles. Jane Light shed a lot of light on the art and craft of using hand carders and carding machines to prepare fleece for felt making. A really lovely day with a lot of laughter and non-stop conversation. Did we mention cake? We look forward to meeting up again when we can.
