DESCRIPTION:3 COLLARS – 3 FELTING TECHNIQUES\,\npart III: CALYX COLLAR \nIn this weekend workshop we will explore possibilities of creating 3d felted structures by combining a whole set of resists. We will focus on a fine and accurate layout to keep control of the many elements included and assemble them into a charming\, lightweight type of necklace or collar. Planful fibre direction will help us to receive the desired shapes with clear and defined contours.\nOnce understanding the construction principles you can use your knowledge for all kind of different felt works\, vessels\, decorative details on wearables or even 3d wallhangings. \nThere are 3 groups available for different time zones\, each one meets on 2 days:\nGr. 1  November 05/06\, 2026 in English 08-11 a.m. (CET\, Berlin time = suitable for Europe\, Australia/NZ)\nGr. 2  November 07/08\, 2026 in Deutsch 10 -13 h\nGr. 3  November 05/06\, 2026 in English 06-09 p.m. (CET\, Berlin time = suitable for Europe\, America) \nFrom module 1 to 3 of the COLLAR SERIES\, we will have a look at different techniques and possibilities for a decorative neckpiece\, gradually increase the complexity and level of our projects. You may consider participating in all 3 workshops (at a discount price) and take the chance to improve and expand your skills step by step. Some weeks in between allow further practising or experimenting with the new technique. If you wish\, you can also book just a single one of the workshops.
