V. haben sich über 30 Künstlerinnen auf sehr unterschiedliche Weise dem Thema Raumbegriff genähert und ihm sehr vielfältige Bedeutungen entlockt. Raum wird nicht nur als Zimmer\, sondern auch als physikalische Größe\, als Natur- und Lebensraum und zugleich als unendlich und nicht greifbar wahrgenommen. Mit jedem Raum ist eine ganz eigene Atmosphäre unmittelbar verbunden. So entstand z. B. in der Pandemie ein neues Raumverständnis\, der Wohnraum wurde zur Isolationsstätte.\nDie Ausstellung „FokusFILZ“\, organisiert von Ulrike Hartrumpf und Bärbel Helfrich\, zeigt ein breites Themenspektrum\, das von der Umsetzung persönlicher Reiseeindrücke\, der Beschäftigung mit geometrischen Formen und klaren Linien bis zur Bewältigung von Ängsten und Zorn reicht. Die 17 teilnehmenden Künstlerinnen widmen sich darüber hinaus privaten Herausforderungen und globalen Problemen wie Kriegen\, Wirtschafts- und Klimakrisen. Ihr experimentierfreudiger Umgang mit Farben und Feuer\, dem Zusammenführen verschiedener Materialien und der Darstellung von Natur in Filz ist gepaart mit großem Einfallsreichtum.\nBeide Ausstellungen zeigen neben der künstlerischen Ausgestaltung auch die unglaubliche Vielseitigkeit des Werkstoffes Filz.
