Wet Felting a Devon Sheepscape
April 5 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm£55
Learn how to design and lay out your wool painting to create a remarkable ‘water colour’ appearance.
Judi’s inspiration is drawn from the gentle rolling hills and moors of mid Devon, scattered with sheep and patterned with fields, streams and copses.
Each layer of merino wool is carefully placed as you work down through the composition, on which details are gradually added using silk scraps, curly locks and silk fibres.
Workshop size is kept to 8 people to ensure everyone is included and close attention is given.
Judi is a very experienced teacher and won the Farmington Fellowship for her services to teaching.
She also exhibits in the South West Region of France in Charente-Maritime, where her landscapes are inspired by the fields of sunflowers, corn and vines.
