The South East London Wool and Textile Festival is back. Bigger, more vibrant, with wonderful creative flair for all those lovers of colour, textile art, fun and hands on experiences. All on a London Farm.

We also have the privilege of being sponsored by Goldsmiths (University of London) (in association with the Constance Howard Gallery)

You will see wonderful feltering, weaving, embroidery, and wool-workers and much much more. Let your textile imagination run wild.

You will get to wander in the large fibre art gallery where we will be featuring amazing professional artists including our guest artist Jessica Taylor’s amazing embroidery and blackwork and Joan Kendall’s stunning story weaving. Plus many more incredible artists coming your way.

all backing onto the amazing scenery of an 89 acre farm.

We have bookable and drop in Cyanotype, tunisian crochet, felting, Venetian Mask making and much much more. Plus children’s workshops. All workshops are bookable from April 1 just drop us an email Book early to avoid disappointment. woodlandsfarmtrust.org.

We will,of course, have our Textile Talks this year including a fantastic talk from Cultural Connections on the textile history and beauty of Sari’s and more.

Plus of course our delicious contemporary textile market. Meet local designers and makers, buy unique and exclusive products and the materials to make your own creations .

All of this takes place on Woodlands beautiful 89 acre Farm near Shooter’s Hill, the haunt of highwayman Dick Turpin.

You can make a whole day of it and even bring a picnic to enjoy with the family, or visit the farms jam and chutney stall. There are loads of wonderful natural places to sit and see the animals and nature. You might even get a chance to ride on a tractor.
