3 COLLARS – 3 FELTING TECHNIQUES,
part II: FEATHER COLLAR (Online workshop)

In this workshop you will learn how to create a collar shape with perfect fit to neck and shoulders and add petals or feathers as a 3d surface.
You should have medium level felting knowledge and some experience with the use of resists will be helpful. A neckpiece like this will not be too difficult to make, but requires some precision with the layout to keep control of the many single elements included and patience when you begin felting, to make sure to connect all feathers firmly to the base. Depending on your individual pace, you would create this beautiful piece of fashion accessory in 1 or 2 days.

There are 3 groups available for different time zones, each one meets on 2 days:

From module 1 to 3 of the COLLAR SERIES, we will have a look at different techniques and possibilities for a decorative neckpiece, gradually increase the complexity and level of our projects. You may consider participating in all 3 workshops (at a discount price) and take the chance to improve and expand your skills step by step. Some weeks in between allow further practising or experimenting with the new technique. If you wish, you can also book just a single one of the workshops.
