The Big Textiles Show is back! An annual fair organised by one of our members Jen Rees. Full details of the event can be found on their website.

The IFA has been invited to display work by its members at this year’s Big Textile Show at Leicester Racecourse on 29th – 30th October. If you would like to submit a piece of work to be displayed on the IFA stand at the fair, please see the details below:
To inspire your work, we are suggesting a theme of ‘texture’. The Big Textile Show organisers have also suggested the theme of ‘a lockdown project’ or ‘bees and pollinating insects’.
You must be an IFA member to submit work.
Artworks should be 2D and no larger than 25cm x 25cm.
As the work will be on the IFA stand, the predominant medium / material of the artwork submitted should be handmade felt.
Artworks will be displayed on a wall /panel on the IFA stand.
Artworks are to be sent directly to the organiser of The Big Textile Show and addressed to: Jen Lees, Arnesby House, St Peters Road, Arnesby, Leics, LE8 5WJ.
Work must be delivered to the above address by 15th October 2022.
Please include a stamped address envelope with your work in order for the organiser to return your work to you. If this is not included with your work it is not guaranteed that your work will be returned to you.
Please label the back of your work with your name, artwork title and materials used in its making.
Please include this submission form with your work when you send it.
It is intended that all work submitted will be displayed.
